Description

From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a very beautiful double cloth brushed wool coating. It is very soft on both sides with a truly reversible design. The twill weave is slightly visible through the fantastic brushed surface texture and an almost heathered effect. This coating is not just doubleface but a double cloth! Double cloth fabrics have two layers which are woven independently and held together by a set of threads, and can be carefully clipped to separate the layers and create almost invisible seams in a reversible unlined garment. This warm and cozy coating is wonderful to work with as it is malleable and does not fray. One side is a warm tea rose (subdued peachy pink), while the other is a biscuit tone. Exquisite quality!
